We started with the belief that children’s learning should be affordable, age appropriate, structured, and organized. If we could tap into a child’s natural curiosity and give them the opportunity to express themselves in a safe, structured, and nurturing environment, they would develop a love of reading and an appreciation for all learning. We were right! To date, our programs have helped many children in Rye and beyond become better readers, better students, and better community members. We offer the best of today’s teaching practices, combining academic vigor with social and emotional support.

" My son started attending Rye Reads when he was 2 and a half years old. After being quarantined due to the pandemic for an entire year I was in search of a preschool program that would help my son socialize, learn and grow in a caring atmosphere. After a few searches I came across Rye Reads and I am so glad I did. As a first time mom I was very nervous to put my speech delayed son into a drop off program but I knew he needed it. Georgia and Miss Lisa understood our concerns, worked with us and have held our hands through the entire process. They have been encouraging and patient. My son is flourishing now because of Rye Reads and Miss Lisa. He is happy, making friends, learning and growing. One of the best parts about Rye Reads is that they use an app to update you every day after each class. It is one of the favorite parts of my day to be able to see what my son did and learned that day in school. My son is excited to go to school every morning. We have been very impressed with the thought, time, creativity and energy Miss Lisa puts into her class. Rye Reads is a loving and caring environment. We are forever grateful for Rye Reads, Miss Lisa, Georgia, and Terry. They have all made a positive impact on my son and my family. I would recommend Rye Reads to anyone looking for an amazing educational program for their little ones in a loving and caring environment."

"We’ve loved sending our son to Rye Reads! The teachers are all very attentive and caring, and we’ve seen our son start to feel more comfortable being around other kids and adults. As parents to a pandemic baby, it’s comforting to know there is a safe place we can send him to help him develop these important socialization skills. Thank you RR!"

"Our son had the most enriching, fun, and intellectually stimulating time at Rye Reads! Ms. Victoria teaches age-appropriate content in highly engaging ways, and he would come home beaming with pride about the projects that he made. Themed units filled with books, crafts, baking, and other activities and interactive play helped the learning come alive for our boy and he couldn’t wait to run into the warm, inviting, happy school each day. The flexibility of Rye Reads, the open communication, and the dedication of the entire team sets Rye Reads apart. We recommended the program to our friends and family, two of whom now have little learners attending the program too! Ms. Victoria has even stayed in touch with us to check on our son and let him know how proud she is of him. Rye Reads is a fantastic choice for your child."

"We are so immensely grateful for our children's time at Rye Reads. My only regret is that we didn't start our children in the programs sooner! I had a 2 year old and 3 year old in the weekly program as well as summer camp, and both students not only delighted in going to class (which says a lot in and of itself), but they learned a tremendous amount each day. They would beam with pride sharing their newfound knowledge. One of the key ingredients to the success is the teachers. We were blessed to have Mrs. Victoria for my 3 year old and Mrs. Lisa for our 2 year old. We started with a few days a week and quickly progressed to 5 at the pleading of the children! Mrs. Victoria's curriculum was stimulating to these young minds and kept them enraptured, and her enthusiasm and connection with them made their time together memorable. Ms. Victoria's heart was in the classroom every day. She has a true love and understanding of children that is palpable when you see her with the kids. The children were nurtured and they knew it. They truly thrived in this loving environment, and we will forever be grateful for their time there!"

"Mrs. Lisa has a special gift of being playful and gentle. My 2 year old struggled at times with sharing, but under Mrs. Lisa's understanding tutelage, she evolved and learned to be a fair, little playmate. Mrs. Lisa has an amazing sense of humor and love of life that she brings to class and imparts on her students."
